Manning, in a joint venture with Eskew+Dumez+Ripple, is providing interior design services for 33 public restrooms at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Part of modernizing the facilities includes adding inclusive spaces for convention guests such as mothers’ rooms and family restrooms. Improvements to functionality and sustainability will be incorporated into the new design. Following the evaluation of current facilities the following will be replaced: floor, ceiling, wall finishes, lighting, sinks and toilet fixtures, flush valves and faucets, toilet partitions, mirrors, counters and other amenities. These renovations are taking place while the convention center is in operation.
